Rider Fitness Tip: Going It Alone

Do you constantly take lessons or rely on your trainer when you ride or workout? This can be actually be counterproductive! External feedback (that which you get from a person, video or person) should only work with internal feedback (that which you feel and perceive on your own).  In other words, you have to have some alone time to teach your body to feel and own what you are learning.

Going it Alone

It is vital to develop your own internal sensory feedback for safety and increased performance. Of course, use good sense! If you are a new rider or on an unpredictable horse please keep your alone time to a safe arena-and always wear a helmet!
