Athletic Rider Got Your Back Challenge

The Athletic Rider FREE 30-Day Challenge is ALL about giving back in the month of MAY! I think this may actually be my favorite challenge so far because riders are going to come together in a fitness community and EARN MONEY for charities! 

How Will This Work?

Everyone joining in the challenge will need to download the Charity Miles App from THIS LINK. I have created a TEAM for all of us called the AthleticRiderFitClub. You will need to join this team from the app so we are all working together to raise money!

My favorite Charity on the list is Girls on the Run because they have a similar vision for all young girls that the Athletic Rider has for young girls who ride. From Girls On The Run’s website:

In May we got YOUR back in the Fit Club with free fitness options, daily accountability motivation and support. Then to give back, you’ve got THEIR back when sign up to support them as your charity!

Because every rider needs to cross train to get fit to ride better, we are also offering two options (just like last month). You can use one of these programs on days when you are not walking or riding for Charity Miles.

1. The Beachbody Live Streaming Option:

In March 2015, Beachbody started offering Live Streaming of many of its most popular programs (with the fitness library adding more programs each month). If that isn’t cool enough, they are now offering FREE 30-Day access to 11 programs when you sign up for a club membership. For our 30-Day Challenge, riders who choose to enroll the free 30-day club membership trial will have access to the Member Library and the New & Noteworthy Library. The Library has access to programs for beginners all the way to advanced athletes. 

What fitness programs are included in the Digital Library?

A. Member Library : Grants Premium Club members unlimited access to stream a selection of Beachbody fitness programs. The fitness programs available to stream under the Member Library section currently include: P90X, P90X2, P90X3, Insanity, TurboFire, Brazil Butt Lift, Ten Minute Trainer, ChaLEAN Extreme, Insanity: The Asylum Vol 1, Tony One-on-One (vol 1), and Hip Hop Abs.

 B. New & Noteworthy: Provides individual sample workouts of some of Beachbody’s newest and bestselling programs to give paid Club members a taste of the program before they decide to buy. Sample workouts available to stream under the New & Noteworthy Library  currently include: 21 Day Fix: Total Body Cardio, 21 Day Fix Extreme: Plyo, Body Beast: Chest/Tri, PiYo: Sweat, Insanity Max:30: Sweat Intervals, P90: Sculpt A, Slim in 6: Start it Up, Focus T25: Alpha Cardio.

 C. Purchased Programs: Allows paid Club members to stream DVD programs they have purchased from Beachbody, Team Beachbody, or the Beachbody Amazon storefront, if available. Programs available to stream after purchase under Purchased Programs currently include: 21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix Extreme, and T25.

If you have already used your 30-Day Free Live Streaming trial last month you can either keep your subscription for a small fee or you can choose the FitnessBuilder Option below.

2. The FitnessBuilder Option:

I know not everyone has access to the kind of WiFi that makes live streaming possible so I wanted to make sure all of my riders would be covered for the next 30 days. To those riders looking for a different kind of challenge, I am going to provide sample workouts from the Fitness Library that I use to create custom programs for riders. Each workout will take about 10-15 minutes to complete and will include some cardio training, some strength training and some flexibility training. Each workout will be available on a pdf/jpg that you can download and use at home or in a gym. 

All you have to do is register below and let me know which program you would like to use for the upcoming challenge. If you plan to participate using the Beachbody option, I will send you a link to sign up for your free access to the Member Library. If you plan to participate using the FitnessBuilder option, your workouts will be posted in our private Facebook group.
